Today we finished our drug packets. I also asked you to get your parents to email me if they forgot to initial your interviews.

The drug packets should have 5 papers in them, three of which are 3 different drugs.

We will have a final on Thursday. We will take a the post survey and a post test for Sex Ed and then a group final to end the semester!!!

Today we continued in our Human Sexuality Packet and spoke about STD's. We filled in our packets
I will be offering two extra credit options for this unit. You may watch either "Sex Has a Price Tag" by Pam Stenzel or "The Miracle of Life" and write a one-page reflection paper on either.

We will begin our drug unit on Wednesday. We will have Officer Atwood as a guest on Tuesday the 20th of December and we will have a Final Comprehensive Exam on Thursday the 22nd.

Today we had the Adoption Presentation. Hope you enjoyed it and learned something. Monday we will discuss STD's and then complete your Human Sexuality packets. Make sure to have your parent discussions and fill in your Male and Female Anatomy packets. We will begin our drug unit next week and have a comprehensive final of all units on the last day of the term.

The biggest assignment this unit is the RBA assignment. You will pick one person to work on your relationship with over the next 3 weeks.

You will be writing a 2 page paper at the end.
It is due October the 19th- the last day of this term.

I also gave the Ser and Estar packet for Spanish 3.
I assigned all pages up to the adjectives. It is very easy but a good review of the conjugations and use of Ser and Estar.

I gave you a packet last time entitled "La Ropa" you filled out the vocabulary page for homework stamp today and I have assigned the rest of the packet due Tuesday.

You turned in you calendars.. receiving extra credit for completed calendars and for binders set up the way I asked.

We listened to "Jueves" a song about March 11th, when terrorists attacked the metro in Madrid.

You got your "La Ropa" packet to begin Unit 1. You just had to fill in all the vocabulary words on the front and back of the first page.

We have a short day on Friday because of the Spirit Bowl!!!

We had some great conversations about emotions today and filled in a lot of the notes.

We are finishing the Stem Changing Packets. We will try to finish the review stuff this week so that we can begin our first unit "All about me"

Test re-takes are due Thursday.

We will listen to a song on Wednesday and fill in the paper.

You will receive an extra credit stamp for:

1. Having a perfect calendar - all of your stamps
2. Having a 1 1/2 inch binder just for Spanish and 8 tabs and a ziploc to put your pesos in.

Today we had an auction
It was super fun and we processed it afterwards as we talked about what is important to us.
How do we actually get some of these items for real?
We had a powerpoint on Goals and had discussions on what it takes to change a dream into a Goal
